The Ashland Historical Society's Reuben Whitten Committee is charged with raising the funds needed to restore the home preserving it for future generations to appreciate its building techniques, historically significant fireplace and its use as worker housing for almost a century. Targeted Donations
If you would like to target your donation to the completion of a specific restoration effort you can donate to any of the projects listed and priced below.
In an effort to complete our Phase 1 Exterior Renovation, we are selling Complete Window Restorations at $300 each with a brass plaque recognizing your donation installed in the Whitten House. For $20 you can buy a window pane and your donation will be remembered with a certificate and in a Book of Pane Donors. If you are interested in helping at that level, please contact us the Society at reubenwhitten@gmail.com and we would be happy to coordinate your donation or send your check directly to the Society and note who you would like your donation 'In Honor Of" or "In Memory Of".
